Inspired by my love of Henri Matisse and David Hockney's early work featuring elegant leafy interiors and patterned figures. I painted the original oil painting - which this print is made from - in April at the height of the lockdown in the UK. This was painted in one sitting - working quickly and loosely in order to get it to a stage where I felt happy before my sister woke up from her nap.

We think it's worthwhile sending these flat rather than rolled, hence the postage price.

Printed onto beautiful, softly textured 300gsm paper. Signed and dated by me - Rafaela Taylor.

The original was painting in oil paint and the printer has done an outstanding job replicating the original colour and texture.. it's hard to tell the difference!
